Some thoughts for the new year

Hello there!  I'm Matt at the business desk and this is my last posting for the year.
If you're an entrepreneur or a small business owner, or you are thinking of going into business for yourself, then I may have something to interest you.
The American government is going to triple its efforts to boost the small business and entrepreneurial economy next year and they are doing this because they believe that this particular sector can help to fill some very glaring and gaping gaps in demand for certain types of markets.  Not only this, but we have an inside track on a report coming out soon that states that several large and medium sized companies are also going to be looking for help from small businesses and entrepreneurs come 2006 as they seek to reduce costs by out sourcing to smaller companies.
Hundreds of thousands of American businesses are going to increase their efforts to attract more global consumers, the American government is going to need help dealing with the demands from such consumers as diabetics, seniors, aging baby boomers, special needs persons, those suffering from obesity, plus lots more.  In addition, there are several world governments who will also be looking for help from North American businesses and this could be the time for you to jump in.
So, if you are looking for a sideline, part-time, or full-time business opportunity, if you are thinking of changing careers, or if you are about to be down sized or you are looking for a change in your life style, you should keep your nose to the ground re these types of opportunities.  If you are eager to get started and don't know where to start then you should pick up a copy of "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff Marquis and Kerry Harrison.  These two authors published their book in mid August 2005 and they have just sold their 15 thousandth book.  That's smashing news and a record for two new authors.  Marquis and Harrison are highly paid consultants to both the U.SO and British governments and I strongly suggest that you pick up a copy of their book as soon as you can.  It's available at www.untappedwealth.com/order.htm and at www.amazon.com.
I wish you a very happy and joyous Christmas and the very best for 2006.  See you in January.

Wanted! Fitness instructors

Hi there, I'm Jayna at the business desk and I have a news flash for you.  Hopefully it will bring some new perspective and excitement to those of you who are either full fledged or budding fitness instructors or even those of you who are thinking about it.  Or you never know, this news flash may galvanize you in the right direction for the new year.
An urgent call has gone out for fitness instructors and fitness trainers and the ones making this SOS call include:  The American government, the world health organization, plus several other renowned health institutes around the world.  With the rapidly increasing number of persons worldwide suffering from diseases such as diabetes, obesity, depression, and other related diseases, many world governments and health experts alike are becoming increasingly concerned that we do not have enough qualified fitness instructors and fitness trainers to help out.  So many of us associate fitness instructors and fitness trainers with the rich and wealthy or those fitness conscious individuals but think again.  There is an increasing demand for these types of professionals and at the same time there appears to be an acute shortage of fitness professionals and according to the experts this situation is threatening to get out of hand.  Consequently, the American government and others are more than willing to pay big bucks to those of you who are willing to become and remain fitness professionals.  It's a perfect opportunity for anyone who is looking to cement their financial security.
This is my last posting for this year and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and a bright and productive new year.  I would also like to congratulate Jeff Marquis and Kerry Harrison on the very exciting news that they have just sold their 15 thousandth book "Untapped Wealth Discovered."  Many are hailing this book as a true blue work of strategic thinking, planning, and insight into how we can find those markets that are rich, untapped, and lucrative.  I have already bought my copy and you can pick up yours at www.untappedwealth.com or visit www.amazon.com.

A successful personal shopper story

Hi everyone, I'm Heather at the Untapped Wealth business desk and I would like to close the year with a success story.
I thought that this story would help to give you some ideas for a very lucrative small business.
Meet Cathy and Brad! A young couple doing really well for the holiday season. Cathy and Brad started their personal shopper business a few short years ago in Boston and today they are running a very thriving annual six figure business. Cathy and Brad got their idea to start their personal shopper business after they met with Kerry Harrison and her team of consultants. Cathy wanted to try something new and Brad had just lost his job. So they decided to go into business for themselves and with the help of Kerry and her associates they set up business as personal shoppers.
Theirs is a very interesting business. Their busiest time is at Thanksgiving and Christmas. They work on behalf of many large stores in their area and they help customers to do their shopping; but it does not stop there. After taking their customers shopping, they pick up the purchases for their customers, wrap gifts if any need to be wrapped, drop off the gifts to where ever their customers want them to be dropped off to, and they deliver purchases to the home of their customers if their customers want them to do so.
This business is working for everyone. The stores are benefiting from this type of service because they are using it to attract customers. Cathy and Brad are thriving because it's a new type of service in their area and they are not competing against anyone for now, and most of all their customers are loving it because it's helping them to do their shopping more comfortably. What's most unique about this type of service is that it's not the customers who are paying for this service, the stores are footing the bill. However, many customers are also willing to pay Cathy and Brad to help them with shopping in other locations.
The personal shopper business is also a going concern during the year because there are many persons who are willing to pay for personal shopper services and several large stores are also willing to pay for Cathy and Brad to do it as it attracts new and repeat business for them.
I would like to congratulate Jeff Marquis and Kerry Harrison on reaching the 15 thousandth sale of their book "Untapped Wealth Discovered" and I encourage you to pick up a copy of this hot seller if you are looking to make a change in your career, or a change in your financial future. Several American business experts are very high on this book and I too believe that Marquis and Harrison have written a book that can help you to enhance and/or change your life style for the better.
This book is available at both www.amazon.com and at www.untappedwealth.com/order.htm.
Now I'm off till January so I will join my colleagues in wishing you a very merry Christmas and a bright and prosperous 2006.

A booming artificial Christmas tree industry

Hey there!  It's Alix at the business desk.
There seems to be a booming business going on in the artificial Christmas tree industry and because of this there has been a 30% drop within the last year for those businesses selling natural Christmas trees.  What we are seeing these days is a very fast growing artificial Christmas tree industry that is being driven by some very imaginative and innovative businesses.  For many years many of us would go out and buy those huge and lovely pine trees and bring them home to our families where the tradition would have been to spend hours decorating them.  OF how I loved to smell the strong pine scent coming from our Christmas tree and how well I remember those Christmases gone by when I used to help my parents to decorate and then my kids would help me to decorate.
This tradition is fast becoming a memory of the past as artificial trees are now the in thing.  Businesses are selling artificial trees that look so much like the real thing and they have taken it a step further by producing trees in various colors so that now you can buy an artificial tree that would match your color scheme and a tree that already comes fully decorated.  Not only that, you can now buy an artificial tree in almost any size:  Counter top, table top, gigantic, for the coffee table, and so on.  I bet you anything that no one could have forecasted the growth of the artificial Christmas tree.  A very good business for you to consider for next year if you are so inclined and if you have a flare for the artistic side of things.
This is my last posting for the year so I would like to wish you and your family the very best for the Christmas holidays and for 2006.  I would also like to congratulate Jeff Marquis and Kerry Harrison on their most recent achievements.  These two authors have just sold their 15 thousandth book "Untapped Wealth Discovered" and they have done this in just three months.  "Untapped Wealth Discovered" was published in mid August 2005 and the experts are predicting that sales will crest the 100,000 mark by the Spring of 2006.  This is one of the hottest selling books on Amazon today and I strongly suggest that you pick up a copy during the holidays.
See you in January.

Some gift giving tips

Hi everyone, I'm Heather at the Untapped Wealth business desk and I have some tips for you on gift giving.
Every year at this time many companies and their employees get into the gift giving mode and this is in addition to the family and close friends gift exchange mode.  We are frequently being asked to give some tips on proper gift giving etiquette so I hope that these are of help to you.
Gift giving could be a very pleasant and enjoyable thing but it can also turn into a nightmare and unpleasantness if we don't follow certain rules.  The worse thing that can happen is for you to give a gift at work and find out later that it is not your company's policy to exchange gifts.  Or, to give a gift that is not appropriate as seen by either your fellow employees or your bosses.
First, find out if gift giving at your workplace is the norm.
Second, find out if there is a limit on the amount to be spent on each gift.  You could find yourself in an embarrassing situation if you either spend too much or too little on your gifts.
Third, Do not give personal gifts to your fellow employees or to your manager.  You can easily offend someone if you give something that is either offensive to the receiver of the gift or frowned upon as being too personal.  An example of this would be perfumes, personal hygiene items, or clothing.  Stick to the safer ground by giving things like chocolates, cookies, books, gift certificates, and electronic items.  In short, stick to more generic gifts.
Fourth, if you receive a gift that you did not expect to receive do not forget to send a thank you note to the sender.
Fifth, if you are giving a gift to a client, give a gift that represents the image of the company and not that of yourself.
If you stick to these guidelines you should be able to keep away from those unwanted and unnecessary embarrassments.

New investment opportunities for the new year

Hey there!  I'm Alix at the business desk and I wanted to share some info with you.
This info comes from several business and economic experts who feel that we should be broadening our outlook for 2006 when it comes to seeking new investment opportunities.  According to these savvy watchers we should be looking towards the East and in particular India and China for new and exciting investment opportunities for next year.  However, there a few tips that I am going to pass on to you if you are interested to pursue this further.
Think of these investments as long term.  Take the time to learn about the cultures of these two potentially limitless markets.  If possible, try to spend some time in these countries getting to know the people and their customs.  Look for local partners in these countries to partner with.  It would be much better to partner with local businessmen as this would help to build trust with your customers.  You should also keep in mind that trust is very important to the Indians and Chinese and that they take much longer to trust people than their Western counterparts.
Finally, if you are providing services and/or developing websites to attract customers from India and/or China, make sure that you hire professional translators and language specialists to be part of your team.  Nothing can be worse than hiring translators and language professionals who do not have the proper background in these two cultures.
You should also pick up a copy of "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff Marquis and Kerry Harrison.  These two authors have written a book that gives some very potent strategies when it comes to investing and doing business in countries such as India and China.  Marquis and Harrison can show you how to take advantage of two very lucrative, rich, and vastly expanding markets and these two markets are undoubtedly to of the largest worldwide.

The main reason why women go into their own business

Good afternoon, I'm Kerry J Harrison co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
A recent survey carried out in America revealed that those women who go into their own business do it in order to make a life change.  Whereas most men who go into their own business do it for monetary reasons.  According to this survey, about 63% of those women who own their own business admit to having done so in order to carry out a life change.  I can understand this because I too decided to start my own consulting business many years ago because I wanted to make a change in my life and I have not regretted it in any way.
Many experts believe that opening or starting a business is one of the most affective ways for a woman to make a desired change in her life.  It helps to give her a sense of respect, worth, and purpose.  It also helps her to become motivated and encourages her to go out there and use her skills and abilities.  I have run countless seminars where many women have told me how happy they are that they decided to take the plunge to start their own businesses.  Some of them have even told me that starting their own business has helped to save and stabilize their marriages because their husbands have become their staunchest supporters.  More and more American women are going into businesses for themselves and it is a trend that is growing by leaps and bounds and our government is very encouraging towards this trend.
I personally along with my team of consultants are heavily involved in helping women to get started in their own small businesses and I and my fellow business consultant Jeff Marquis have just co-authored our second book "Untapped Wealth Discovered."  Our book has been given the nod of approval from both the American and British governments as well as several women's organizations. In our book we show women how to find those very lucrative small businesses that can help them to achieve their goals plus much more.

Successful teen entrepreneur

Hello there, I'm Matt at the business desk and I have a success story to share with you.
Meet Robin, a budding and thriving teenage entrepreneur.  For the past year Robin has been stealthily building his business.  He lives in a busy Illinois suburb and when he is not going to school or doing his home work he spends his time helping others to install their hardware and software.  He got the idea from his parents one day when they told him that there were several tenants in their condo complex who were looking for help to set up their computers.  At first Robin was afraid that he would not be able to do a good job but thanks to encouragement from his parents he started small by offering to help his neighbor to set up a new computer.  It went quite well but Robin needed more encouragement and he got it from his parents.
Soon he was helping others in his condo complex then he was handing out flyers advertising his services.  He started small and would only do his business on weekends but soon enough word spread that Robin was available to provide hardware and software installation services.
After one year Robin has increased his availability to working on weekends and two nights weekly.  He offers software and hardware installation services as well as Internet support services to neighbors in his condo complex as well as to three other condo complexes closeby.  He is also doing quite well revenue wise as his parents told us that after one year Robin has cleared all of his expenses and has made a very impressive 25,000 dollars.  Robin himself is quite surprised at his success and plans to continue his business.  He hopes to make enough money to help put him through college.
Robin took advantage of the teen business idea concept that is presently sweeping across America and if you are a teen looking for ways to become a successful entrepreneur like Robin or you aware a parent looking for ways to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in your teenager then you should pick up a copy of the book "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff Marquis and Kerry Harrison.  This book is filled with some very in debth strategies for the teenage entrepreneur and it shows both parents and teenagers how to get started on the right foot.
"Untapped Wealth Discovered" is one of the hottest sellers these days and you can pick up a copy at www.untappedwealth.com/order.htm or you can also find it at www.amazon.com

Wanted! Ebay specialists

Hi!  I'm Jeff N Marquis co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
Many people are already starting to plan their business wish list for next year and according to a recent report published by a leading business magazine here in the United States, there is going to be a rapid increase for the services of eBay specialists next year.  Many of you may be wondering why and here's the answer.
More and more people are turning to eBay to buy and sell their products because eBay has become a symbol of safety, trust, and fast and efficient service.  Many buyers and sellers on eBay are honest e commerce individuals who are only interested in buying and selling products.  The whole eBay system is safe and solid and because of this the demand for eBay specialists is also growing at a very rapid rate.
What is an eBay specialist?  Someone who can help you to buy and sell your products.  Someone who understands how the whole eBay system works.  Someone who can show you how to bid, buy, sell, and write enticing sales descriptions for the products that you are desirous of selling.
There is a lot to learn when it comes to becoming eBay savvy and  there are many persons out there who would hire an eBay specialist to do it all for them rather than learn how to do it for themselves.  For trust me!  If you are technically shy or not inclined towards computers or you don't know how to create those nifty and spiffy sales descriptions you may be better off to seek those savvy eBay specialists.  Several business experts are predicting that the need for eBay specialists is going to triple and quadruple within the next two years so if you are looking for a lucrative opportunity then here's one for you.
If you need help getting started as an eBay specialist then I suggest that you read the latest book that I have co-authored with my fellow business consultant Kerry J Harrison.  Our book has been approved by the American government as well as several entrepreneurial and small business organizations across America.  We have included strategies that are proven, safe, and logical and our book is very affordable and would make a good Christmas present for anyone who is thinking of going into a home-based business.
Visit www.untappedwealth.com/order.htm to pick up your hard or e copy of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."  Our book is also available at www.amazon.com.

Holiday shoppers looking for more discounts this year

Hi there I'm Jayna at the Untapped Wealth business desk.
Many retailers are telling us that this year more and more shoppers are looking for discounts.  For some reason they are not as willing to pay big bucks for their purchases nor are they willing to settle for the proffered price tags.  Instead, they are spending more time to do their research and they are willing to spend more hours both on and off the Internet looking for discounts.  We are not sure if this is a new trend in the works but my advice to retailers is that you should pay close attention.
Don't take shoppers for granted.  Don't get too comfortable in the belief that because it's the holiday season and everyone is looking for those perfect or hard to find gifts that they are willing to shell out big bucks.  No!  Absolutely no!  Shoppers this year are going to do their homework and the winners this year will probably be those who are in a position to offer attractive discounts.
Watch for our big announcement later on this week.

Heart attacks being caused by factors in the workplace

Hello there I'm Matt at the Untapped Wealth business desk.
According to researchers in Berlin there is a direct relationship between noise in the workplace and heart attacks.  These researchers recently completed a study whereby they have come up with a theory that the noisier the workplace the higher the rate of heart attacks among employees.  Does this mean then that there are higher rates of heart attacks among those employees who work in noisy factories  and that quiet offices have lower rates of heart attacks among their employees?
Another research study recently conducted in the United States  puts forward the theory that heart attacks are caused mainly by the winter season.  This research study states the following:
More people are likely to have heart attacks during the winter due to factors such as colder weather, a very hectic Christmas and holiday season, hustling vacations, and more robust physical activities such as snow clearing.
We also have another theory that states in part that higher rates of heart attacks are being caused by increased stress in the workplace and at home as well as growing pressures in our society.  So many theories and so much to think about.
This may be a good time for you to examine these factors more closely if you are thinking of making changes to your careers or your jobs.  If you are then you may want to give a read to "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison.  This book is filled with some very astute business ideas that are intended to help you look in the right places for those opportunities that will allow you to decrease your exposure to those devastating and often times fatal heart attacks.  If you are concerned about your stress levels then you should definitely read "Untapped Wealth Discovered."  Marquis and Harrison are two world renowned business consultants and their expertise are highly valued by the American government.

Successful small business

Hi there!  I'm Jayna at the business desk and I have a success story to share with you.
Meet Greg and Heather Cofax:  A very successful small business couple living in Wisconsin.  Greg and Heather are the product of success and they tell us that they owe a large part of it to Jeff Marquis and Kerry Harrison.  About seven years ago Greg was laid off from his middle management job and at that time Heather was a stay at home mom looking after three young kids.  Greg was totally unprepared for the loss of his job and took it very hard.  In his own words, "I felt as if a huge wave had simply blind sided me and all I could do was to throw my hands up to protect my face."
At first things were very hard for the Cofax family but Greg got a break one day when he saw an ad in the paper for job counselling services.  He was willing to try anything because it had been a little over a year since he lost his job and his savings were beginning to run out.  In addition, things at home were starting to fall apart as Heather was becoming impatient and desperate and the kids were becoming stressed out.  So off he went to counselling and a few weeks after starting he met Jeff Marquis during one of the seminars.  He introduced himself to Jeff and soon after this things began to happen for Greg.  Jeff put Greg in touch with Kerry and together they worked to develop a portfolio of interests.
Fast forward to six months after Greg met Kerry and Greg tells us that from this portfolio he and Heather decided to try their luck at a plant care business.  They chose this venture because they both liked plants and they both wanted to find a business where they could work together.  That was about five years ago and today Greg and Heather are the proud owners of a very thriving plant care business that brings them six figure annual revenues.  They run their business from home and their clients include large and medium sized businesses as well as busy professionals and families.  They employ 12 full time employees as well as several part-timers.  Their schedules are flexible, they can take vacations whenever they want, and they are saving lots for their kids college educations.
Greg and Heather have had to work very hard to obtain their success but they have had very valuable help from Jeff and Kerry.  These two business consultants have just published their second book "Untapped Wealth Discovered" and this book is one of the hottest sellers at present.  According to the Cofaxes:  "This book is a sure winner and it is because Marquis and Harrison really understand how to help the ordinary person get started in businesses that are safe and logical.  Moreover, these two are very easy to work with and they seem to have a sixth sense as to how to motivate their clients into ventures that suit them."
You can pick up a copy of this hot seller at www.untappedwealth.com.  This book is available in both hard copy and e format and it is very affordable.
